SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Assess technical effort and strategy and assist with enforcing development standards

2. Work alone or in various-sized teams to design, build, debug and maintain existing .Net web applications or CIS business applications

3. Solve moderate to complex problems with minimal guidance using appropriate toolset

4. Work effectively with Business Counterparts, Manager, Technical Lead, Infrastructure team and Business Analysts

5. Lead medium to large scale technical projects with 1 or more developer

6. Responsible to perform peer code reviews

7. Mentor new or less senior team members

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Four year college degree in Computer Science, Information technology or a related discipline

2. 3-5 years of development experience with at least 2 years in the .net platform. Must have hands on experience with at least 3 .net full life cycle projects

3. Solid understanding of the .net framework and object oriented concepts with experience in using design patterns, distributed paradigms, modeling techniques and UML

4. Experience designing and developing core architectural components such as security models, exception handling, master pages, helper classes, etc.

5. 3+ years of SQL experience and versed in SQL concepts such as triggers, indexes, and stored procedures

6. Ability to interpret and translate business requirement into technical and/or functional documentation

7. Experience with XML use and manipulation of XML documents to retrieve/update XML data

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Visual Studio 2008, VB.NET 3.0/3.5, ASP.NET 3.0/3.5, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET AJAX, MS SQL Server 2005

PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

ADO.NET Entity Framework, JavaScript/jQuery, Visual Studio Team Foundation System (TFS) 2008, Retail Energy Experience, N Unit testing, SAP or Oracle Experience

Job title: QA Automation Lead QTP (U. S. Citizen only)
