Responsibilities:
• Experience in enterprise data modeling for large database with over 20,000 concurrent users and high transactional volumes
• Responsible for the architect and design of logical and physical data model for OLTP and Reference (Meta) Data databases on Oracle 10g and 11g.
• Organized and able to abstract data requirements into data models
• Understand the different degrees of data normalization versus its application and performance implications
• Understand how to design a highly transactional system with performance implications for various modeling options
• Experienced in keeping referential data integrity in RDBMS
• Proficient with SQL statement writing in Oracle RDBMS
• Creating the base tables, associative tables, and views, and choosing and creating all indexes.
• Financial and mortgage data analysis background is a major plus
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10+ years industry experience Must
• Ability to come up to speed quickly
• This individual must have the skills to understand the logical data model as well as the business requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and able to work as a senior consultant with clients and business units
The budget is flexible for this role, as we understand how difficult it is to find a solid Data Modeler, with an even temper. Personality is going to be very important for this one.
