Position Description: BS and 8+ years experience impact the infrastructure. Trains engineering staff; leads and provides direction to less experienced web support engineers.
In this dynamic position you will play a key role within the team. You will be the single point of contact throughout the project life cycle of several key initiatives and will be expected to provide leadership and consultation on those projects from inception to implementation. Your design skills, attention to detail, follow through and integrity will be critical to the success of the project. In addition, you will provide support, maintenance, implementation, training and security for your project and a wide diversity of other applications already implemented. Key Skills Needed: - Ability to comprehend complex issues and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. - Design new weblogic and other middleware environments based on measured server metrics to ensure stability and performance goals are achieved. - Self starter with desire to understand work and project objectives, not just execute. - Have strong customer service skills that help deliver quality re!
sults in a demanding environment - Possess a good understanding of processes around IT Service Management - Demonstrated experience in Administration and Engineering with Linux/Unix/Solaris and Windows operating systems in a mid- to large-size production environment. - Expertise with web and middleware environments (JBOSS, Apache, Tuxedo, IIS, Weblogic, JRE) - Shell scripting or python experience in server administration. - Ability to manage stress and remain professional in a rapidly changing environment. - Desire to automate and improve processes. - Ability to creatively solve problems, design new environments and implement solutions and technologies
