Detailed profile description : - Infrastructure Integration Engineer
Role Maturity / level : 4-7 years : TA/TL
Short Description : Profiles with Windows 2008 Server administration, working experience on IIS 7, 7.5 etc. The person should be responsible for installing IIS 7 and other components on the box and troubleshoot issues faced by DEV team on deploying the packages. Basic networking knowledge is expected. Win 2K8 administration is primary. Financial services industry experience preferred. More details below.
Requirements:
• Candidate must have 7+ year experience with Windows 2008, IIS 7.5, and .Net application integration in large complex environments.
• Must have strong experience to migrate servers from Windows 2000 to Windows 2008 platform.
• Must have strong experience with software distribution and scripting with at Altiris deployment server.
• Must have strong experience to automate Third party software, configure IIS web server using Vbscript /WSH and also packaging tool such as Wise or Installshield.
• Must have strong experience with TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing technologies.
• Must have experience integrating public internet facing applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot application integration issues in Windows environment.
• Must have experience supporting large scale relational databases (SQL/Oracle).
• Good working knowledge of Active Directory, GPOs, IE and similar platform technologies.
• Good understanding and experience integrating applications in a large scale production environment.
• Good understanding of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions.
• Good knowledge of Network Technologies.
• Good understanding of Virtualization technologies.
• Must be able to provide technical support, solutions and guidance to all individuals.
• Good troubleshooting & analytical skills.
• Previous experience with financial services industry preferred.
• Must have good written and communication skills.
• Must be able to multi-task & work independently.
• Must be client focused.
