Job Title: Sr.VB.NET Developer

Location: Miami, FL

Duration: 4-5 Months Contact

 

Job Description:

• Develop and design .NET web applications using VB.NET        
• Writing complex SQL statements including inner/outer/self joins, stored procedures, cursors, user-defined functions and views
• Translating business or functional requirements into technical specifications
• Analyzes, designs, implements and supports Web-related applications in support of the company's internet/intranet strategy.
• Maintains and develops internet-oriented applications.
• Performs all or part of the software development life cycle.
• Develops and support applications, modifies/enhances applications to support changing business/user needs.
• Develop, update and enhance internal tools using .NET Framework and Microsoft Reporting Server.

Must haves:

At least 5 years experience in ALL of the following: 

• Web application development using ASP.NET / VB.NET
• HTML
• JavaScript
• SQL Server 2005 or 2008
• XML
• Web Services Development (this is a must)
• Good understanding of database structure, theories, principles, and practices is required.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is required.
• Applicant must be highly self motivated and directed and must have proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
