Title: Software Test Engineer – Performance Engineer (subject matter expert)

Location: Rochester, NY

Duration: 6 Months+

 

 

Skill and Experience

 

At least five years professional experience in software performance management using software performance testing best practices, tools, techniques.
Candidate is required to have two years of web application architectures (IIS/ASP.NET, C#) , client / server design patterns, SQL Client / Server          
performance testing, Network Performance testing experience.
Experience with general Microsoft Windows Server performance monitoring and testing (Disk, CPU, Network, system).
Experience with TCP Socket Performance Measurement is a plus.
Experience with virtual server performance testing or familiarity with virtualization (VMWARE) or virtualized applications is a plus.
Experience with all levels and types of testing (unit, integration, functional, system testing, acceptance and regression testing)
Familiar with the software development process and have experience in software requirement traceability
Ability to assess high-risk or critical areas of an application on which to focus testing efforts when time is limited.
Experience in test automation is a plus.
Experience in identifying project requirements, defining project scopes of work, and maintaining project schedules. 
Experience with wireless networks, wired networks and network equipment is a plus. 
Software quality assurance experience developing test procedures and healthcare industry experience are plusses. 
Demonstrate strong verbal, written, and customer communication skills as well as time management skills.

 Must have mastery of concepts, principles and practices of engineering that enables them to serve as a technical authority on projects.
