Position: Sr.ETL Engineer (8 yrs exp must) (Health Care exp Must).

Location: Omaha, NE

Duration: 12 months

 (Please dont submit below 8 yrs exp).

Job Description:

Provides overall technical solutions and design for Business Intelligence Data Integration. Areas impacted include overall technical solutions, ETL design, development, and implementation of EDW. Additional areas include leading technical discussions, code reviews, solution documentation, team mentoring, and defining overall best practice as related to data integration

 

Essential Functions:

·         Creates complex technical solutions and design and develop utilizing ETL tool (Informatica) and other technologies (30%)

·         Provides technical guidance and direction for each ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) project design and development team and ensure documentation is produced using defined methodologies. (20%)

·         Liaise with projects managers and lead developers to assess project schedules and resource allocations needed to complete projects in a timely manner. (10%)

·         Develops ETL processes using the various data warehousing software. (20%)

·         Maintains ETL metadata and document all business rules.  (10%)

·         Seeks out best practices to find opportunities for improvements in develop processes and makes recommendations for implementation (5%)

·         Leverage skills and experience to contribute to overall architecture for IM systems, in developing end-to-end system design for specific data warehouse application, propose new IM development standards, escalate issues and assess risks and look out for Data Integration Development interests in project teams  (5%)

 

Experience:

·         Minimum seven (7) years of significant practical experience in data warehousing concepts, practices and procedures.

·         Minimum 5+ Yrs Hands-on Experience in ETL architecture & development.

·         Experience of integrating Data Access Tools (relational and multidimensional) into Data Warehousing reporting solutions, such as Informatica, SQL Server 2000 DTS and 2005 SSIS.

·         Familiarity with data preparation, processing, clarification and forecasting. Experience in Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) and data management techniques.

·         Strong experience in data analysis, data cleansing, and data transformation is required

·         Should have lead Onsite/Offshore team

·         Minimum seven (7) years of significant practical experience in data warehousing concepts, practices and procedures.

·         Minimum 5+ Yrs Hands-on Experience in ETL architecture & development.
