Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 4 – 6+ Years
Technical/Functional Skills : 1. Technology
 Strong knowledge in designing, implementing, supporting & deploying
IBM Data power security gateway for routing, message transformation
and to enforce the security policy using Data Power XI50 solution.
• Design Firewalls with experience in support,
Troubleshooting and tuning
• Strong knowledge on Message flow in Web applications
• Knowledge in any-to-any message transformation with advanced level
of understanding / experience in XSLT.
 Hands on experience in Web sphere Transformation Extender.
 Design logging subsystems to capture significant events related to
Data Power user administrative activities (e.g., failed
authorizations, schema validations, and system errors).
 Experience in the analysis, architecture, documentation and
promotion of messaging infrastructure solutions including the use of
SOA solutions.
 Experience in Data Power application build and deployment
 Possess strong knowledge of SDLC concepts (Software development life
cycle) .
 Experience with XML, XSLT, XSD, DTD and Namespaces required.
 Experience with SOA (Web Services, WSDL and SOAP)
Experience Required 1. 5-8+ years of general IT experience with at
least 4 years of IBM Data Power Appliances.
2. IBM Middleware technology like MQ, Message Broker.
3. Web Services/SOAP
4. Application deployment and configuration in WebSphere DataPower
XI50.
5. XML, XSD, WSDL, XSLT
Roles & Responsibilities : 1. Design logging subsystems to capture
significant events

2. Analyze, Architecture, development and promotion of Messaging
Infrastructure solution.
3. Design document development and review.
4. Design and Develop Routing, Security Mechanism and validation for
the given scenarios.
5. Working closely with the developers and provide technical guidance
6. Onsite-Offshore coordination

Generic Managerial Skills : Good interpersonal and team skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must.
Education : Bachelor of Engineering; Masters degree preferred.
