Title: Informatica Developer
Duration: ONE YEAR
Location: Omaha, NE.
Strong work experience in the Data Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Testing of Data Warehousing using Data Conversions, Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) on Teradata, SQL Server and ORACLE.
?Good understanding of Ralph & Kimball Methodology.
?Extensively used Informatica for performing Data Migration, Extraction, Transformation and Loading.
?Strong understanding of Relational Database Concepts, Entity Relation Diagrams and Normalization Concepts.
?Have clear understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing Concepts with emphasis on ETL and Life Cycle Development.
?Involved in design of Dimension Models, Star Schemas and Snowflake schemas.
?Development and design of ETL methodology for supporting data transformations and processing, in a corporate wide ETL Solution using Informatica PowerCenter. Experienced in mapping techniques for Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 Slowly Changing Dimensions.
?Strong Experience in Performance Tuning of source SQL to speed up data extraction.
?Strong Experience in Performance Tuning of Mappings, Sessions and Workflow design.
?Strong Experience in Loading and Tuning Teradata loads using Tpump and Multiload external loaders.
?Experience is utilizing Pushdown Optimization option to optimize the sessions.
?Worked extensively with all Informatica tools including Source Analyzer, Warehouse Designer, Mapping Designer, Mapplet Designer and Transformation Developer.
?Strong skills in development of Mappings, documentation, implementation and enhancement of ETL strategies.
?Strong Experience in designing and developing complex mappings applying various transformations such as Source Qualifier, Expressions, Sorter, Router, Filter, Aggregator, Joiner, Connected and Unconnected Lookups, Sequence Generator, Rank, Update Strategy, Stored Procedure, SQL transformation.
?Experienced in loading Mainframe datasets to flat file using JCL with XPATH scripts
?Experienced in scheduling load jobs using AutoSys scheduler.
?Programming Skills using PL/SQL, and BTEQ Unix Shell Scripts. Creation of scripts for collection of statistics in Teradata, reorganization of tables and indexes, and creation of indexes for enhancing performance for data access.
?Experienced in Unit Testing mappings and working with OBI dashboard developers for verifying and validating dataloads and reports.
?Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
