Hotlist-Hotlist Linux Admin Needed!!

This position will be responsible for ensuring that the system remains operational and secure by keeping system/network technologies current; documenting system architecture and functionality for user reference and system auditing; researching, testing, verifying and deploying new system technologies considered for use in the LINUX environment.

Linux Admin

3 Months + Possible Extension

San Jose CA 

-MySQL DBA, and application troubleshooting,
- Apache
-Tomcat
- Javascript and basic web development background.
- Firewalls & Loadbalancer
- PHP,Python,Perl,Node.js and other scripting languages
- Preference will be given to candidates who know Java.

Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for running and maintaining a small production environment for PayPal Labs services.
- Will play a key internal support role for various departments as they work in a start-up environment with growth opportunities.
- Should be able to expand on their current knowledge and help to architect a scalable production
environment.
- Will help maintain an overall solution, not just a server.
- Need to utilize their knowledge of both server maintenance and application engineering as they support Labs servers, applications,database, operating systems, and other supporting system infrastructure.
- Need to write and maintain proper documentation for the deployment configurations
