Job Title: Financial Analyst

 

Primary Skills: business analyst

Location: Erlanger, KY

 

Duration: 12 months

 

Description:

Assist with the development and preparation of monthly financial reports to management and executives.
Provide a variety of information to management analysis of financial data. Examples include specific sales trends, expense trends, year/year comparisons, etc.
Develop standard evaluation across hardware/software/communications and professional services vendors and implement across all categories.
Develop internal and external guidelines for managing vendors.
Provide recommendations for improvements to processes, procedures, workflow and organizational structures for vendor management.
Develop library of vendor information and assist with creating long term strategy for IT products.
Work with technology groups within organization to benchmark processes and procedures for managing vendors.

Skills:
Proven history (greater than five years) of business analysis experience in vendor management
Experience in financial reporting and analysis
Excellent communication skills at all levels of an organization
Strong documentation skills (business processes and guidelines, link charts, status reports)
Works independently, but excellent communication to supervisors
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc)

Optional Skills (candidates with these skills will have stronger consideration):

Experience in Cognos
Peoplesoft Financials experience
