Overview:
The candidate will be working on a team that will be part of the USB eBusiness team focused on delivering customer centric, cross-segment solutions with increased speed to market to drive value to our customers, providers and intermediaries
Description:
• Web developer specializing in web and infrastructure security
• Must be fluent in secure coding best practices.
• Must have significant experience with application security analysis using automated tools such as Veracode and CAST.
• Will be able to interpret results, understand ramifications and suggest options for remediation, including developer training.
• Familiarity with network and host security tools and concepts will be beneficial.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders ranging from development teams to business leaders.
• Develop peer to peer relationships in the application security space and the business community.
• The individual will need to work effectively in both waterfall and agile development environments while maintaining the ability to assess risks to applications and suggest practical solutions without reducing the agility required for our business to thrive.
• Work with business and Risk Management on risk review with external vendors for vendor hosted products.
Requirements:
• 2+ Years experience assessing applications for security vulnerabilities
• 7+ Years of related IT experience
• Web development experience with Java is a plus
• Must be fluent with secure coding frameworks and best practices
• In Depth knowledge of top vulnerabilities like SQL Injection and Cross Site Scripting.
• Must have experience with code review using tools such as Fortify and CAST
• Must be comfortable with taking the output of a variety of assessment tools and
explain the results with necessary remediation to both technical (Development) and non-technical (Business) people.
• Must be able to shift gears rapidly and smoothly in order to facilitate handling multiple projects and tasks at one time, in support of the needs of the Business.
• Must be proficient in SDLC processes
• Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite including MS Project and Visio tools.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with IT and business individuals and teams at all organizational levels.
• Must be a self-directed and highly motivated with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must be a good team player.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills along with relationship building abilities
• eBusiness experience a major plus
• Previous experience or knowledge of Clients businesses / processes is a plus
