Job Description:
Position Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for working with a team of IT professionals to define and construct the new PeopleSoft General Ledger, the Finance Data Warehouse, and business intelligence solutions. Specific focus will be on the development and documentation of Erwin Logical/Physical data model, and the generation of DDL/DML for instantiating the data model in an Oracle database.
Mandatory Technical skills -
· At least 5 years experience in designing large databases with focus on data warehousing
· Working experience with Oracle Database, SQL and PL/SQL
· Erwin Logical/Physical modeling, DDL/DML generation, capacity planning (volumetric), and reverse engineering
· Demonstrated ability to use database design and diagramming tools such as Powerdesigner or Erwin.
· Understanding of reporting tools such as Business Objects, Crystal Reports, and Actuate.
· Knowledge of Informatica (8.x and above) and ETL maps from a development perspective.
· Knowledge of meta data and master data management tools and techniques
· Experience with database export/import and Rman backup utilities
· Data warehouse modeling in star-schema, snowflake configurations
