Thank you… Job Title: AIX Administrator and Solaris Administrators Location: Jacksonville, FL possibly Charlotte, NC Duration: 6 Months Rte: $DOE Description: Duration: Contract through 12/31/2011 with a very strong possibility of extension through 2012 (this project has been in place since June 2009) Location: All positions must work 100% on site in either Jacksonville, FL or possibly Charlotte, NC (position specific). AIX Administrator and Solaris Administrators These resources will assist with the ISP (Infrastructure Simplification Program). The scope of the work will be operating system upgrades and patching. Required Skills: · All candidates need to know how to upgrade OS versions and apply patches and firmware. · Strong Troubleshooting skills. · Excellent communication skills · · Ability to work independently · · Security remediation · · Scripting (bourne and perl). Description of AIX Administrators: AIX resources will be patching and upgrading AIX v.5.3 to 6.1. AIX Candidates · Experience upgrading AIX versions v.5.3 to v.6.1 Description of Solaris Administrators: Sun Solaris resources will be upgrading v.8 and v.9 to v.10. They will be responsible for installing patches on over 700 v.10 servers.
