Job Description:
Responsible for all aspects of Microsoft Outlook 2007/2010 support. This includes providing escalation support in representing the engineering group for issues, patches, upcoming changes related to the email environment. Candidate also needs to have experience with Outlook logging/debugging. Experience with Powershell in an email environment is a must.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide escalation support for Outlook issues.
Research and utilize powershell for essential functions.
Use Outlook logging/debugging to help resolve issues related to email and calendaring etc.
Participate in weekly review meetings related to upcoming changes and provide engineering reviews/approvals for these changes.
Develops and adheres to network standards.
Provides planning and technical support for company installations.
Provide assistance to other support groups as necessary
Assists in the selection and recommendation of standardized equipment selection.
Stays abreast of new technologies as it applies to business needs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. 8 to 10 years of experience in the field as a Systems Engineer. Exchange and Outlook certifications are a plus.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS:
Design and Implementation experience with Exchange 2010
Design and Implementation experience with Outlook 2007/2010
Debugging knowledge of Outlook
Experience with Powershell
Design and Implementation experience with Windows 7
Design and Implementation experience with Windows Server 2008 R2.
Ability to diagnose and solve problems.
Effectively communicate.
