Job Title: SQL Server DBA
Location: Marlborough, MA
Duration: 6-12 Month Project

Brief Description of Duties & Required Skills (Complete job description should be attached to this form):
Work with business analysts to understand requirements and provide data warehouse solutions;
Architect, design, develop, manage, implement datawarehouse schema based upon CIM standards.
Identify Database Objects from source database that need to be transferred to the destination datawarehouse.
Use Microsoft SSIS or Informatica to ETL data from source to destination
Develop OLAP cubes as required.
Develop DataMarts as expected by Business Requirements.
 Be responsible for data optimization, tuning and performance.
Provide capability for custom reports, ad-hoc reports, OLAP, Business Intelligence application.

Must Have; Should Have:
A Bachelor*s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar field ore equivalent professional experience;\
10+ years of database experience including SQL Server 2005/2008;
Experience developing datawarehouse STAR or SNOWFLAKE schema.
Experience in database design, utilizing ERWIN, Embarcadero or other design tools;
Experience using SSIS;
 Experience building OLAP cubes.
Experience working with developers to create browser based reports.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have Experience & Skills:
Master*s in Computer Science or equivalent;
Experience with Oracle 10g/11i and SQL Server;
Moving data from Oracle to SQL Server;
Development skills in JAVA;
Prior work experience working in small development organizations wearing multiple hats
