Location: Boston City MA
Duration: 12+ Months
Rate: Open (All Inclusive)
Education
Baa or BS Degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related field. Any additional equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Description
· At least 5 years of experience as an Oracle developer using Pal/SQL, SQL Loader, SQL PLUS and other Oracle technologies on large data warehouse systems.
· Designing data warehouse database structure including table and index design, partitioning, and bulk processing. Knowledge of factors that affect performance within large Oracle data warehouse environments.
· Performance Tuning for Oracle Dabs using Explain Plan, Takeoff, HINTS in Oracle data warehouse environments. Oracle 10g and 11g.
· Data warehouse concepts and El Informative preferred
· Solid understanding of database data modeling concepts and tools ERWin preferred .
· Understanding business requirements and translating that into technical database solutions. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Pharmaceutical experience is a plus but not mandatory.
