Job Description:

 

Responsibilities:
Working within a team setting, the Senior Software Developer may be responsible for any one or a combination of the following activities:

 

• Providing analytical and technical support in the design, development, and implementation of several complex web based applications in a .NET and classic ASP environment within the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Analyze and manipulate data using complex data queries.

·         Design, Document, Create, and Enhance Web Services in .NET for data movement across multiple systems.

·         Maintain and enhance code in a .Net as well as Classic ASP environment.

·         Understand  content management practices and knowledge of CSS and javascript.

Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent plus 5+ years hand on experience building  software applications using ASP/Vbscript,.NET/C# environments.

 

• Proven expertise across a broad spectrum of Web technologies (HTML, CSS, Ajax/JavaScript, ASP, .NET and web services).

 

• Experience in IIS Application Server.

 

• Strong work ethic and ability to work under little supervision across a diverse geographic area.
• Extensive experience with writing SQL for SQLSERVER database.

 

• Understanding of MVC applied to OO principles, patterns, relational databases.

 

Ability to take business requirements and define functional and design specifications, and create prototypes
