Hotlist-Hotlist Need System Analyst (Java) @ MA for 6 months

Role: Senior  Analyst

Location: Massachusetts MA/NEWTON

Duration: 6 months

 

The Senior System Analyst assists the Director of Development and Team Leads in the management of the development team.  These individuals work with application managers and developers in providing software solutions to meet the business needs and requirements. The Senior Programmer Analysts lead the Java/J2EE application development activities on assigned projects/tasks.
 
Job responsibilities:
* Analyzes, designs, develops and implements Java and J2EE applications according to CCNA IT standards and business functional requirements.
* Assist, mentors, and partners with other developers on the team on any technical issues and questions.
* Manages a small group of off shore development teams.
* Assists in research and development efforts within application development team.
 
Qualification and requirements:
* The successful candidate will have a BA/BS degree with a business information or computer science focus: at least 7 years overall experience in the area of software application/system development.
* Previous experience as a programmer, developer, software engineer and/or technical designer is required.
* Skills of Java/ J2EE, SQL/PLSQL, Visual Basic, .Net are a plus.
* Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture programming is nice to have.
* Ability to operate as part of a team, and manage multiple priorities and projects is essential.
* Knowledge of SAP or equivalent is preferred.
* Footwear/ apparel/ retail/ wholesale experience is a plus
