UI Designer with Flex
Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 3 Months

 

Required Skills:

UX design experience and related disciplines: All aspects of the discovery phase: interviewing users, observing users, task analysis, documenting requirements

Solid understanding of the fundamentals of user interface design; experience in user-centered design methods

Knowledge of best practices of major websites and UI design in RIA environments

Understanding of the capabilities and limitations of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX , Flash

Solid proficiency with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office Suite

Comfortable defending concepts and negotiating successful compromises between multiple project stakeholders.
 

Desired:

A blended background of in-house and agency experience a plus

At least 5 years of experience designing web-based interfaces

Prototyping experience: wire frames, storyboards, flow charts, and clickable prototypes.
