OVERVIEW
This is a technical lead role with a strong communication requirement. The ideal candidate is comfortable communicating directly with the business customers in addition to directing and leading a development effort. Tactful communication that is also honest and transparent is required. It is important that the candidate has made the leap from individual contributor to lead and can effectively delegate work to team members and provide feedback to management in the event resources are not working out.

The architecture strives to expose a 360 degree view of the Consumer via web services using a federated data model implemented with an MDM.

REQUIRED
3+ years of demonstrated experience with Oracle backend database development
2 years Experience with developing federated data models and writing federated queries.
2+ years experience working as a Lead on multiple projects, in both large and small projects
1 year of Master Data Management (MDM) experience
Experience with a federated data model and writing queries against such a model
Experience working with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), JBOSS preferred, but experience with any ESB would be fine.
High volume direct consumer data experience
Demonstrated Technical Lead experience
Experience working in a SOA based environment
3 years' experience developing object-oriented, web-based consumer applications in a web services, Java/J2EE 3-tier environment.
Experience with high volume data, direct consumer applications a must.
Experience integrating applications in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment with particular focus on Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technology.
Experience, interest and adaptability to working in a Lean/Agile delivery environment. Strong preference for multiple years of SCRUM/XP development expertise.
Experience estimating work, planning, organization and implementing complex MDM software projects
Experience working with Java tools in business, Web, and client-server environments including Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE), Enterprise Java Bean (EJB), JavaServer Pages (JSP), Java Servlets (including JNDI), and Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) technologies
Fluent understanding of multiple development languages including SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and XML, and ability to write clean, eloquent, minimal code in a load-balanced environment to achieve value added business outcomes.
Must be able to translate technical issues into business issues and/or functionality.
Need to be able to work with Project Managers, Product Managers, and QA teams. Need to be able to provide status to Project Managers and bridge functional/technical gaps with Product Managers.
Ability to delegate work and uplift development team.
Ability to work in a matrixed environment. Self-starter who can work without a lot of supervision or direction, willing to make decisions without checking with others
Successful track record collaborating with product owners, product managers and business SMEs to ensure delivered solutions optimally support the achievement of business outcomes
Passion and successful track of coaching, teaching, mentoring and learning
Commitment to and hands-on experience in leading/performing technical quality reviews
Commitment to collaborate with other developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs

PREFERRED
Oracle Exadata and Oracle Coherence so any experience there would be a huge plus
Informatica Siperion preferred, but not required
Experience working as a Lead on multiple projects, in the data integration space
Familiarity with mass data conversions and ETL preferred
Familiarity with Informatica is a big plus.
Experience with JBOSS preferred.
