As the process owner and release knowledge owner for a given set of applications, the analyst is accountable for building a deep architectural / technical / functional understanding of client systems, critical components and messaging architectures and ensure this knowledge is captured and used for repeatable and precise releases. The role is responsible for continuous improvement (CI) of release and environment management capabilities. To this end, the analyst will produce a real-time dashboard for key performance indicators.

This is a hands-on role: defining the release approach, produce detailed dry run and release plans (with clearly identified sequence / dependency, timing, resource, communication plan, logistics, and risks), environment plans, executing release activities from inception to handover to Production Support Team, managing changes through Remedy application, defining/executing build and configuration management activities. and executing smoke/validation tests for each release.
