Location: Stamford, CT + face to face

 

Role is for a Sybase developer. The individual will be assuming responsibilities for maintaining and enhancing an existing Sybase financial data warehouse. Current version is 12.5 – but will be moving to 15. This person needs to be a quick learner and will be expected to rapidly grasp the warehouse process and be in position to both maintain the production environment and also expand its features as part of ongoing projects.

The ideal candidate should have:
5 to 7 years experience with Sybase covering creation of tables, views, queries and stored procedures.  Ability to tune procedures and queries is also essential.

Knowledge of financial systems

Good communication skills

Willing to work in a team environment.

Eager to pickup business knowledge to work more independently.
