Oracle DBA/Programmer
Location: Los Angeles
Duration: 12+ months
Phone then face to face
*7+ yrs of experience and expert knowledge of key technologies including Oracle DBMS, Oracle Applications 11 and above.
*Strong PL/SQL development skills, able to perform database design,m program complex stored procedures, triggers.
*Ability to analyze, design, program, support and implement information systems.
*Ability to translate business requirements into an optimal architectural design.
*Ability to function as an application DBA, Oracle programmer.
*Analyze and resolve, or recommend solutions to highly complex technical problems such as performance issues, integration of object-oriented relational database technology, data quality issues
*Ability to work closely with developers (off-short, local, vendor) for the architectural design, development, maintenance and support for newly developed database systems.
*Lead or participate in modeling initiatives (object, logical), data analysis
*Able to assist with data conversion from Sybase to Oracle
*Experience building interfaces to major ERP systems (like Peoplesoft)
*Ability to create and write complex stored procedures and triggers to implement business rules and transactions.
*Prepare status reports to accurately communicate progress; provide early notification of problems that could affect schedules, or the integrity or availability of data.
