Location – Collegeville, PA
Duration –12 months
The Job Description is as follows:
Job Summary:
· The Application Technology Support Specialist provides support and expertise to the delivery organization. The Application Technology Support Specialist provides the day-to-day support for one or more products or applications that are deployed to the SDO Production environment. The primary responsibility of the Application Technology Support Specialist is to ensure the availability of an application or product for end users.
· The Hyperion Planning Specialist is responsible for analysis, design, code, and testing of multiple components of application code across one or more clients. He is involved in maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of complex Planning (Hyperion Planning, v11) system, budgeting and forecast and consolidation of the EMEA region for Consumer business.
· He may be required to participate in pager/on-call support. The System Specialist reports to the Client Service Team Manager.
· Prior Pharma domain experience is preferred. The individual should have knowledge on leading practices on how to configure and support these technologies.
Hyperion Planning, v11 is being used for Planning, budgeting and forecast and consolidation of the EMEA region for Consumer business. The requirement is to ensure that no forecast /actual close cycle is interrupted. At the same time the specialist has to complete enhancements and change request on time. The system is being used for financial planning and reporting for a pharmaceutical company. It is one of the components within more complex HFM/ Planning/ Essbase mixed technology (Oracle /Unix/ Windows) platform.
· Provide primary support for Hyperion Planning & administration and general support maintenance
· Analyze, design, code, and as required test enhancements and small changes to Planning system including integration and server site scripting components
· Support continuous application configuration optimizations.
· Meet service commitments for assigned deliverables and proactively provide work status.
· Organize and prepare work effectively to facilitate proactive resolution of problems, rather than reactive
· Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting the application
Basic Qualifications:
- 4 years of Hyperion Planning Expert 9.x/11.x
- 3+ years experience in Hyperion system 9.x+ EPM components
- Hyperions S4 with integration knowledge with Oracle eBusiness Suite
- Oracle Capability (2+ Experience)
- Basic understanding on Enterprise System Configurations knowledge (e.g-Backup, Clustering process etc)
- Familiarity with general support maintenance best practices
- Financial closure knowledge
Additional Preferred Skill Requirements:
- A DIM knowledge is preferred
- DRM Knowledge is preferred
– Process reconciliation knowledge to keep system data in sync
– Strong written and oral communication skills and presentation skills.
– Strong analytical skills, problem recognition and problem solving / issue resolution skills along with coordination skills.
– Expertise in detailed requirements gathering and documentation of requirements, including requirements for functional design.
– Expertise in Testing and creating Requirements Traceability matrix.
– Expertise in Enterprise Life Cycle processes and Managed Services model
