- This position is for a Business Analyst within the Crop Protection Sales Support IT team.
- The Crop Protection Sales Support IT team is responsible for the support and enhancements of applications used to manage marketing programs.
- Client's marketing programs are designed to drive sales, increase market share, and promote brand awareness.
- Marketing programs are a key piece of Client's strategic partnership with the wholesale and retail distribution channels.
- The primary function of the Crop Protection Sales Support IT team is to work with all of the business teams involved to effectively capture marketing data, accurately calculate program participation and payments, facilitate timely payments, and provide appropriate reporting tools.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all areas of the System Development Life Cycle. Direct accountability for gathering requirements from business users, creating detailed design documents, interfacing with the development and DBA teams, and creating and executing test scripts.
• Perform and coordinate ongoing maintenance and support activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues.
• The interface to the customer for a variety of marketing programs.
• Ensuring the system and application architecture meets the required reliability and sustainability goals.
Required Skills:
• Proven ability to understand the full implications of a business request and how it can/should fit into an existing or new application.
• Ability to effectively interface with business partners, development teams and customers on both a technical and non-technical level.
• A self starter, able to achieve results with limited direction.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• 3 - 7 years experience as a BA (or similar IT role).
• Ability to adhere to operational standards.
• Agility and the ability to work in ambiguous situations.
Ability to multi-task and work on several diverse tasks across multiple applications simultaneously.
