Mainframe Developer-L3

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Rate: $40/hr on CTC

 

The Job Description is as follows:

·       Required a mainframe professional with 5-8 years of IT experience and 5-8 years of experience in analysis, design, development and testing on mainframe technologies.

·       3-5 years of thorough hands-on experience in design and development using COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS and VSAM

·        Must have excellent analytical, problem solving and documentation skills

·       Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experienced in various phases like Requirements, Analysis, Design, Development and Testing.

·       Knowledge of tools like Changeman, Expeditor and QMF will be a plus

·       Strong verbal & written communication skills

·       Good team player The Senior Mainframe developer will be involved in the following activities.

·       Gain functional knowledge on Utilities and CIS

·       Understand system requirements and high level design

·       Create Low level design documents

·       Development of code and unit testing

·       Perform code reviews

·       Coordinate with offshore developers and onsite leads
