Oracle database architect Subject Matter Expert (SME)(Face to Face interview)

 

Chicago,IL

 

6-12 Weeks

 

Objectives:

1.            Assess for our application environment from a database lens and provide possible solutions so that we minimize or eliminate production service disruptions or performance issues due to application triggered anomalies.  Specific activities and deliverables include:

•             Analyze application database design

•             Propose database design changes to address potential issue areas

•             Analyze SQL,PL/SQL performance and use of best practices

•             Propose tuning enhancements for SQL, PL/SQL issues

•             Analyze application processes from a database perspective, including performance, ongoing growth, and potential problem areas

•             Propose SQL, PL/SQL changes to address potential problem areas

•             Propose application process changes to address potential problem areas

 

Qualifications:

•             5 years experience  with application database design

•             10 years experience developing SQL, PL/SQL

•             5 years experience as an Oracle DBA (Including 10g RAC)

•             7 years experience performance tuning on Oracle databases

•             Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)

•             Excellent at knowledge transfer

•             Excellent at collaborating with application, infrastructure, DBA and support specialists

•             Must work at the Seaton home office location on Evergreen Street, Chicago, IL
