Position: Web Application QA Testers
Duration: 6-month project to start (expected extension).
Location: Egan, Minnesota
Experience: 7+ years

Required
Automated tests for web applications
Experience with specific test automation tools (Selenium, Test Partner, Winr unner)
Need to be able to handle handle the dynamic nature of AJAX and/or Java script heavy applications and how they collected/summarized the results
Required
A four-year degree in Computer Science or other related field.
5+ years of automated software testing and/or software development experience working with enterprise caliber applications.
2+ years experience programming with testing automation tools, techniques, patterns, and best practices
Strong Database and/or XML and DTD/Schema background
1+ years of experience working with Selenium Library
Experience using Team Foundation Server for source control, defect management, and workflow management.
A history of meeting or exceeding aggressive deadlines in uncertain environments, and delivering high quality results.
Strong bias for action, passion for taking initiative and ownership, accepting personal responsibility to deliver on commitments, having courage to raise issues, and proactively working to resolve issues and remove barriers in a timely manner.
Collaborative leadership style and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
Experience successfully leading a small team or project including communication and collaboration across Development, Testing teams and interfacing with the Business.
Agile practices and methods are used to implement testing and configuration management solutions. In this position, you will play a key role in providing technical leadership for testing enterprise applications developed using new and emerging technologies and in implementing new, innovative ways of providing quality testing services.

Primary Responsibilities
· Responsible to develop and implement code for testing of enterprise application projects.
Develop and execute automated and manual tests using C# and/or Java to test REST or JSON endpoints, APIs, or a UI through the Selenium library.
Partner with software development teams, project managers, business partners and other organizations ensuring testing services are adding optimal business value.
Actively participate in all phases or activities of the agile or other methodology used on the project including Iteration Planning, Stand-ups, and Team Retrospectives.
Develop software-testing artifacts appropriate and applicable to the agile process or other methodology used for the project.
Develop and actively participate in building test automation using C#/Java and/or other technologies.
Create and manage software quality artifacts that add business value. This may include anticipating project needs and quantifying the implication of project decisions about product quality.
Proactively identify and clarify requirements. Actively resolve issues and remove barriers within and outside the organization in a timely manner.
Proactively share knowledge on best practices for testing software and act as a consultant across all software development and testing groups.
Implement new emerging and innovative technologies for testing services.
Continuously learn new technologies and domain knowledge.
May include leading a small team of software testers on specific project.
