The Media Applications Development team is looking for individuals who have a passion for media software and a keen eye for product defects. You will be responsible for performing manual test execution, as well as developing, executing, and maintaining software used to test the product. Our test team is dedicated to delivering a focused strategy towards assuring high quality releases. We are seeking exceptional QA professionals who are enthusiastic about the future of media technologies and take pride in contributing towards the development of world-class software. The ideal candidate possesses extensive Windows and OSX client application testing experience, familiarity with audio/video codecs, as well as a strong understanding of quality assurance methodology and the software life cycle. You must be highly organized with demonstrable knowledge of media formats and media software applications. The ability to work on multiple projects/platforms simultaneously is essential.
Key Accountabilities % of Time
1. Write and execute tests, analyze and investigate the results, work with developers and Program Managers to isolate problems and drive them to resolution 50%
2. Develop and execute test automation 40%
3. Planning and reporting 10%
Education BS/BA in Computer Science or related field
Experience 4+ years of experience as an SDET
Proficiency in an object oriented programming language a plus
Ability to programmatically test any software product and develop automation for it
Experience testing on Windows and OSX
Deep technical familiarity with various media playback and management software
