Position:  SAP HCM/Payroll App Support

Location: St. Louis, MO
Duration: 6/6/2011 - 12/31/2011

Rate: $55/hr

Position Description: Payroll Application Support

 

This position will focus on supporting SAP applications as part of the Peabody HR Functional team.  The position will include 75% customer support of SAP Payroll & 25% support of SAP OM/PA/Benefits.

 

 The candidate must have very strong customer service skills including strong communication skills to interact with human Capital Management (HCM) Business Owners.  The individual should have extensive troubleshooting skills and the ability to support users via phone & in face-to-face situations.  The individual will also need to document thoroughly all issues and resolutions in a clear and understandable manner using Peabody 's established protocols.

 

 The candidate must have experience in the configuration /development and testing models associated with SAP HCM, especially in the Payroll area.  This includes the ability to create detailed configuration / development documentation.

 The candidate must have experience creating detailed testing documentation and the ability to work with users during user acceptance testing.

 

 The candidate should have experience supporting the payroll process and a general knowledge of the U.S. payroll laws and regulations.  Experience with BSI tax files and Kronos Timekeeping are a plus.  This includes general taxing and deduction guidelines.

 Technical Skills:

• 5 years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years of SAP Payroll experience on ECC 6.0
• Configuration of wage types
• Configuration of payroll rules and schemas
• Implementation and/or upgrade experience a plus
• Version ECC 6
• Knowledge of generally used HCM Infotypes for:
• OM / PA
• Compensation
• Benefits
• Talent Management
• ESS / MSS

 Schedule: Minimum 40 hours per week with 24/7 "on-call" responsibilities 33% - 50% of the time.
