Job Title: SAP FICO - Asset Accounting

Description:

This position has been a challenge to fill.

They want 80% Fixed Assets and 20% AP.

**They are past the build phase and now into configuration
This is a Global project involving US/United Kingdom/Hong Kong

The client uses Vertex as a bolt on for taxes declaration, processing etc so the candidate will need to have Vertex experience.
The consultant will be the FA / AP support for the merger/conversion of a Legal Entity into the Corporate SAP environment.

The core responsibility will be to Lead the conversion activities for the US, UK and HK Fixed Assets and support the assigned AP conversion tasks.

The responsibilities will include translating requirements into SAP FA design and configuration, configuring the system, generating and executing applicable scenarios for functional and integration testing and working with the SAP ABAP development team to ensure that business requirement specifications are understood.
The Consultant will also complete documentation and performance of all design, build, test steps and defect resolution.
Understand and comply with the Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps.

Qualifications:

A minimum of seven years of relevant work experience with SAP FA and AP also exposure to the integration with FI/CO, preferably in mid to large size companies.
One Full Life Cycle
Experience with SAP version ECC 6.0 Classic Ledger
Experience in delivering end-to-end technology and client implementation solutions/projects
Solid understanding of at least two of the following processes: Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, and Corporate Finance functions, Taxes and related best practices
