Job Title: Oracle HR Lead

 

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: DOE

 

Description:

Business Analyst will provide functional and technical Oracle HRMS application (11i and/or R12) support to internal business customers. This person will help gather functional requirements and use them to plan and produce detailed functional specifications, test strategies and provide implementation and post production support.

 

Responsibilities:

1.       Plan and drive Oracle HRMS project initiatives to assure goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed timeframe. Leverage deep understanding of business and/or technology and work closely with other groups to assure the total solution delivered to the customer expectations.

2.       Brings in industry best practices in the implementation of new processes in Oracle HRMS and other key HRMS processes and areas.

3.       Drive the implementation of Oracle HRMS modules in a global environment.

4.       Directly or indirectly in conjunction with HR, Financial developers (onsite and/or offshore), work with business users to resolve customer problems with software applications using trouble shooting skills and functional expertise.

5.       Perform implementation and /or maintenance support activities in assigned functional areas. Serve as contact for end-users if business super-users or primary analysts are unable to resolve application issues.

6.       Develop user test strategy and author test plans as required for application releases, enhancements and patches.

7.       Participate in cost analysis for IT projects from both a business process and technical integration complexity perspective.

8.       Participate in and contribute to all phases of systems development, including requirements, design, development, client training, data conversion, testing and maintenance to achieve the successful development and implementation of the customer's business systems.

 

Qualifications:

1.       Minimum 5 to 7 years hands-on experience with implementing and supporting HR systems and applications, preferably in a high tech environment.

2.       Experience / Knowledge Oracle 11i/R12 HRMS (HR,BEN, PER, OTL, iRecruitment, Self Service) suite

3.       Expertise in Oracle e-Business suite best practices, including at least one full cycle implementation (R12 or 11.5.10)

4.       Knowledge of 3rd party Payroll and HR integration tools is a plus

5.       Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Technology or related field.

6.       Understanding of various HR processes, functions and areas

7.       Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with credibility at all levels of the organization.

8.       Responsive to customer needs and highly motivated to improve the skills and capabilities of his/her organization.

9.       Customer service end user responsive prospective.

10.   A team player outlook with the ability to work well with peers.

 

 

Job Title: Oracle Supply Chain - IT Business Analyst

 

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

Description:

IT Business Analyst – Supply Chain

The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing business solutions and providing functional support as needed for the Supply Chain business users. This individual will work with business users on gathering functional requirements, building new business case studies, proposing prioritized solutions and coordinating with the development teams and project manager to deliver specific enhancements and projects. This position requires a person who can work with the Supply Chain business teams and help them on effective utilization Oracle applications (11i or R12). 

Primary Responsibilities:

1.       Hands on support on Oracle Applications 11i or R12 Supply Chain Modules, mainly Order Management, Shipping, Purchasing, Inventory, Bill of Materials, Advanced Planning

2.       Work with other business systems analysts and the development team (onsite and/or offshore) in converting the business solution into technical designs.

3.       Work as SCM resource on New projects/Initiatives and be able to propose and configure solutions on Oracle applications

4.       Support and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)

5.       Coordinate and/or deliver end-user training as appropriate

6.       Ensure data integrity through periodic review and audit of the finance and supply chain systems

7.       Ensure timely and controlled access of information across the organization

8.       Analyze and develop long term solutions for finance and supply chain systems and make recommendations and proposals for improved effectiveness and efficiency

9.       Define and design solutions for captured business requirements and map the solution onto the Oracle e-Business Suite

10.   Educate users in the supply chain divisions on appropriate input and update processes and data utilization techniques

11.   Create and manage documentation as appropriate

12.   Maintain current knowledge of business analysis techniques and the Oracle e-Business Suite


Requirements:

  1. 5 to 7 years of Supply Chain IT systems and industry work experience as Business systems analyst in supply chain business systems analysis, solution design, and deployment using Oracle applications.
  2. 5 years of experience Supporting/Implementing/configuring Oracle applications
  3. Strong knowledge of Integration with Oracle Supply Chain Modules is needed.
  4. Expertise in Oracle e-Business suite best practices, including at least one full cycle implementation (R12 or 11.5.10)
  5. Expert knowledge of Oracle e-Business architecture and administration and the ability to quickly diagnose and solve system problems
  6. Detailed functional knowledge of Oracle supply chain modules (OM, Shipping, Inv., WIP, PO, MRP, Costing etc.)
  7. Demonstrated successful working relationships with IT and Business customers
  8. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language to end users and Senior management
  9. Excellent communication and presentation skills

 

 

Job Title: Oracle Finance - IT Business Analyst

Description:

IT Business Analyst – Finance

The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing processes, solutions, analysis and support to the Finance functions. Partner with the business process owners, super-users, and end-users on adoption, effective usage, and efficient deployment of Financial Systems solutions. In addition, Business Analyst will effectively manage the change control process, gathering the end-user requirements, and communicating IT priorities and delivery status to the business. 

Specific responsibilities:

  1. Provide Finance functional leadership leveraging business process and Oracle configuration and optimal usage expertise.
  2. Collaborate with Finance and IT in the global design, development (onsite and/or offshore), and deployment of the organization's Oracle 11.5.9 eBusiness Suite of applications.
  3. Actively demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement focused on end user productivity, Finance shared service optimization, and enterprise process integration.
  4. Support the Finance end-user community by providing research, analysis and problem resolution to team members.
  5. Liaise with various business groups in the organization to facilitate cross-functional implementation of new or improved business process requirements for all IT-related business, financial, and operations systems critical to core organizational functions.
  6. Provide consultation and second tier application and training support to staff on issues to ensure compliance.
  7. Participate in the IT Roadmap, including Oracle Rollout to Asia & Europe and Oracle Release 12.
  8. Effective management of internal client services - which allows all users to address questions, report problems, and submit requests related to IT production.
  9. Using strong analytical, consultative and communication skills, gather and document business requirements.
  10. Negotiate technical and non-technical solutions that both satisfy the business user and conform to the technical architecture.
  11. Document and communicate changes throughout the user organization, supporting change management and compliance.


Skills and Experience:

  1. 5 to 7 years of Finance IT systems work experience as Business systems analyst in Finance business systems analysis, solution design, and deployment using Oracle applications.
  2. Oracle Financial eBusiness Suite experience: GL, Intercompany, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Consolidation, Inventory and Cost Accounting
  3. Bachelor's degree with a focus on information technology
  4. Full knowledge of Systems Life Cycle development methodologies
  5. Strong use of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio)

Oracle Applications Database Administrator (DBA)

Oracle Applications DBA with Release 11i / R12 experience. Duties include Database & Applications Installation, Maintenance, Migration, Security, Disaster Recovery, Cloning, Backup and Recovery, Performance Tuning, Capacity and Space Management, Problem Resolution, Hardware/Infrastructure expertise, System Documentation, and System management and Support.

Essential Functions:

1.       Managing multiple Production and Development Oracle Applications environments of different releases.

2.       Hands-on experience with Oracle databases and Applications version R12 and R11.5.10.2 modules.

3.       Good understanding of R12 architecture and the various Application tier and Database tier components.

4.       Full Applications R12 lifecycle support.

5.       Installation, Configuration, Upgrade of Oracle Applications 11i.

6.       Experience with AD utilities, patching techniques and cloning of Oracle Applications environments.

7.       Experience working with Oracle Support: opening, managing, and resolving Oracle SR's.

8.       Applications System Administration and Troubleshooting.

9.       Practical knowledge of Parallel Concurrent Processing; Debugging Concurrent Managers and requests

10.    Managing database and applications security

11.    Knowledge and experience with Multi-Node and Multi-Tier Applications environments

12.    Managing Standby databases and RAC databases in UNIX environment.

13.    Experience and in-depth understanding of Oracle backup and recovery methodologies, Strong skills in RMAN is Desired.

14.    Experience in database reorganization, migration, capacity planning capacity, disaster recovery and high-availability experience Strong in depth experience in database performance tuning, application tuning.

15.    Strong PL/SQL programming background and exposure to Oracle Applications Development support (Oracle Forms and Reports).

16.    Experience with Oracle Application Server versions 9.2.0.4 (1.0.2.2) and up, with Oracle Portal, Single Sign On.

17.    Working with/managing middleware environments

18.    UNIX shell scripting.

 

Education/Experience:

1.       5+ years as an Oracle Applications DBA (w/R12 and/or 11.5.10.2 experience)

2.       8+ years of experience with Core Oracle Database (Oracle 8i, Oracle 9i, 10G )

3.       Experience in working in-house or hosted environments
