Development Manager or Project Manager / Lead for our client located in San Diego, CA. 

 

Duration: 1 year

 

This lead will manage a team of 5 or 6.  Manage budget of $5 million and scheduling. Need Java, weblogic technologies.

 

Qualifications

Requires a strong technical background. Ability to recommend, design, and implement technology solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner. Strong leadership skills for technical professionals. Ability to develop and deliver projects using (where appropriate) leading-edge technology. Solid project management skills with ability to multitask and manage small projects in a cross-functional setting. Ability to blend creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills for refining existing theories or developing new system approaches to seize opportunities to sustain business success. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills in setting and managing client expectations. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical matters in business terms. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.   

 

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing a team that develops, implements, and/or maintains software components or application systems which enable the automation of business processes. Activities include feasibility studies, solution selection, design and implementation of business-driven technology and/or applications, and financial/budget management. Ensures the delivery of on schedule and on budget solutions. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
